thoughts from phillipians

I once thought all these things were so very important, but now I consider them worthless because of what Christ has done. Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the priceless gain of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I may have Christ and become one with him. I no longer count on my own goodness or my ability to obey God's law, but I trust Christ to save me. For God's way of making us right with himself depends on faith.(Phil. 3:7-9)

Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. If you do this, you will experience God's peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. (Phil. 4:6-7)

I read these verses this morning during my quite time and was struck with the huge amount of power and promise that is encompassed in just a few lines...There is nothing in life that these verse don't set into correct perspective and priority. This is the way I want to live my life...
